Problems And My Solutions
The layout of each problem is as follows:
The 1st page is the statement of the problem. 1. Stay on this page and try to solve it as
you see it. First write down any and all concepts and physical
principles that you think apply to this situtation - with words
and formulas. 2. Then solve it your way.
The 2nd page has statements of the definitions of the concepts,
and the physical principles (or laws) that apply to this problem
- words and formulas (when appropriate). It may also have pictures
and diagrams that help to understand the situation.
The 3rd page contains the my solution based on page 2.
Some problems have an additional section which
presents a more comprehensive development.
ALL SOLUTIONS ARE IN ADOBE PDF FILES WITH
THUMBNAILS (ver 5 and earlier) OR PAGES (ver 6)
1. The right answer without reasonable explanation is worth at most 50.
2. The right answer with reasonable explanation is worth at most 75.
3. For more it takes clear statement of definitions, appropriate labeled graph,
diagrams, pictures. An well supported wrong answer can earn more than 90.
